Payments, recurring & refunds

Bank payments use Plaid Transfer: an authorization (risk decision), then the transfer itself, with events tracked until settlement.

Mandates

Every debit stores the exact authorization text the customer accepted, with time, IP and user agent. Edit the wording in Settings → Payments and have counsel review it before going live.

Risk checks

With Signal enabled, BankBridge evaluates your ruleset result, the bank-initiated return-risk score, or — for balance-only rulesets — the available balance against the amount, and blocks risky debits before money moves.

Recurring payments

  • Created with [bankbridge_pay recurring="week|month"] or from integrations (GiveWP, Restrict Content, EDD Recurring).
  • Weekly on day 1–5 (Mon–Fri) or monthly on 1–28, or -1…-5 counted from month end. every sets the interval count.
  • Start dates are in the future (tomorrow by default); ends is optional.
  • Customers cancel from [bankbridge_accounts]; admins from Transfers → Recurring payments.
  • Hard returns (R02, R03, R04, R05, R07, R08, R10, R16, R20, R29) stop the schedule.
