Pay rent monthly
A monthly recurring debit (rent, dues, subscriptions) using Plaid recurring transfers, with a schedule shown on the receipt and self-service cancel.
How to test
- Log in and connect a bank (In Plaid Link choose First Platypus Bank and sign in with
user_good/pass_good.) - Pick an account, read the authorization — it names the schedule and the first debit date (5 days from today) — tick the box and submit.
- The receipt shows the schedule (monthly on the 1st) and the next payment date.
- Open My bank accounts to see and cancel the recurring payment, or wp-admin → BankBridge → Transfers → Recurring payments.
- Skip ahead in time: Sandbox Toolkit → Recurring payments time machine creates a schedule on a Plaid test clock you can fast-forward.
Schedules follow Plaid’s rules: weekly on a weekday (1–5) or monthly on day 1–28 (or -1…-5 from month end); start dates in the past move to tomorrow.
