Apply for a loan
A loan or tenant application: consent, identity details and bank connection, after which BankBridge requests a Plaid Check consumer report (and optionally income) for the lender.
How to test
- Log in and start the application.
- Accept the consent text, enter your details and connect a bank (In Plaid Link choose First Platypus Bank and sign in with
user_good/pass_good.) - Submit — the status step shows that the report is being prepared.
- Underwriters review it in wp-admin → BankBridge → Lending & Reports.
The applicant flow must be switched on in Settings → Lending, and Plaid Check (Consumer Report) must be enabled for your Plaid team. On teams without it, the report request fails with INVALID_PRODUCT — the rest of the flow still works.
